Inception Winery produces some of the most fun wines out of Santa Barbara County. Wine Director George Pitsironis crafts some very elegant and clean wines that over the last few years have become CSBH staff favorites. Their newest release also might be their best. 100% Chardonnay fruit from Good Child vineyard in Santa Maria makes this wine 100% awesome. The wine is rich but with that sense of balance that comes with fruit from a coastal region. More importantly, the wine is delicious. It would be easy to have not one bottle but two at dinner as it offers plenty in aromatics, mouth feel and taste. Try it as a late summer dinner wine with a salad of grilled corn and shrimp.
