3. It comes in a liter bottle, which is 250ml more fun than a regular wine bottle.
This wine hails from the Niederösterreich, the wine region in Lower Austria -- which is actually in the North! Even though they are geographically challenged, they consider Grüner Veltliner water which makes them okay in my book.
Grüner Veltliner has become wildly popular in the last few years, and Berger is every reason it has done so. Crisp, refreshing, and low in alcohol means you can enjoy wine like this while sitting on your patio eating some Chorherrenkäse.

Also known by its other name, Amadeus, Chorherrenkäse is an easy cheese to like. Much like its wine counterpart mentioned above it is simple, uncomplicated and delicious. Its literal translation is "Canon's Cheese" linking it back to Amadeus after Mozart. This cheese is a great melter, so try it in a grilled cheese, or perhaps on a Croque Madame!
Oven Dried Figs with Barolo Wine
Fantastic dried figs packed in their own juices with a little Barolo to top it off. Absolutely delicious.
