Gianni Calogiuri's family has produced Vincotto Originale since 1825 from locally grown Negroamaro and Malvasia Negra grapes in Puglia, a region of Southern Italy.
How to use Vincotto: It can be used as a condiment over roasted meats, salads, vegetables, soups and even desserts giving them a delicious tang. It blends nicely with bacon and potatoes for an original potato salad. It gives zest to many desserts, to vanilla ice cream, fresh peaches or pears.
